SPS Consulting (UK) Limited advises on the accommodation needs of disabled people. Preparing Claimant, Defendant and Joint Accommodation Needs Reports on personal injury and medical negligence claims etc.
With 38 years of experience in the construction industry, including 25 years specialising in providing accommodation needs assessments for disabled individuals, I have cultivated a deep understanding of both the technical and human aspects of this work. As the owner of SPS Consulting UK Limited for the past 22 years, I have built essential relationships that enable me to deliver a fast, professional, and modern service that leverages cutting-edge techniques and technologies.
Each Part 35 compliant expert witness report we prepare is tailored for a claimant’s specific needs according to the evidence provided. We are always mindful of our duty to the Court and ensure we provide high quality evidence.
Another key element of our service is identifying the most suitable properties for rent or purchase. Selecting the right property from the start is essential, as it sets the foundation for any necessary adaptations to meet an individual’s specific needs. We are fully committed to finding the ideal property, regardless of the time constraints, and we maintain close collaboration with all parties involved in managing the individual's requirements.
For any adaptation schemes I am involved in, I am personally involved in the project, ensuring that tasks are carried out professionally and efficiently, a commitment often neglected by others who claim similar involvement. We prepare suitability assessments, prepare designs, provides estimates of costs, and administer the work. My approach is to take on projects only when I am confident I can deliver a service that fully meets the client's needs, offering both reliability and quality.
While the projects I now deal with are small in scale, from my experience on larger scale projects in the past, I remain well-versed in the full scope of construction processes and my responsibilities as a professional. Most importantly, I never lose sight of the individuals I serve, maintaining a strong appreciation for the unique challenges faced by disabled individuals and the impact that suitable accommodation can have on their lives.
Lastly, we recognise the importance of having trusted professionals to furnish, maintain, and manage an individual’s home efficiently. To ease this burden, we offer a comprehensive service that takes care of these responsibilities, ensuring peace of mind and allowing individuals to focus on what matters most.
