Currently Principal Consultant with AQUA Leisure Safety & Training Services and Associate Consultant with Quality Leisure management Ltd.

Author of industry standard texts on pool and beach lifeguard operation and management and on the pre-hospital management of swimming pool spinal cord injury, specialist in development of risk assessment and risk management programmes.

30 years experience in accident investigation as expert witness in civil and criminal cases and for HM Coroners. Past Vice Chairman National Water Safety Committee, Chairman of CEN Safety Standards Committee from 1993 until 2017 and CEN Principal UK Expert. Specialist in all areas of aquatic safety and in particular, swimming pool and pool diving accident investigation.
