Dr Eldad Farhy

I am an Associate Fellow of the BPS. A HCPC Registered, Consultant Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Psychologist (R. Psychol.) specialising in medico-legal assessment and reports and in the psychological treatment of adults. I am also a “Checked Expert,” listed on the Register of Expert Witnesses (2013). I have been awarded a Psych.D in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Psychology by the University of Surrey.

I have had postdoctoral specialist training in Cognitive Neuro-Psychology at the Institute of Neurology (University of London), specialist psychological training in the treatment and measurement of Personality Disorders (P.D.) in the USA and in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the UK. Thus, I am qualified to report on Cognitive and Neuropsychological matters and on personality related issues. Having worked in the NHS for twenty years as a Lead Psychologist and Supervisor, I am now working full time in private practice specialising in medico legal assessments and reports.

I have a private practice as expert in the treatment of trauma and P.D. and have been instructed as Expert Witness in several instances (over 200 in the last year) reporting on cognitive and personality aspects, on behalf of defendants, claimants and local authorities. Remote assessments are provided on all major video platforms and face to face meetings can be arranged at either my East London or Shenley, Herts. clinics, or nationwide by appointment. Services are also available in French, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew.
