Mr S Shahane

I have been in the medicolegal practice for more than 10 years. I am specialist upper limb surgeon with special interest in surgery of the shoulder and the elbow joints. I have completed two fellowships in surgery of the upper limb prior to joining as a consultant in 2002. I have been awarded the "Aesculap" and "Smith & Nephew" scholarships to travel to centres of excellence around the world to further my knowledge in complex conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. I was also awarded a CPD prize by the British Shoulder & Elbow Surgeons in 2011 for contributions to BESS and Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. I am a faculty member in numerous national and international courses in surgery of the shoulder and elbow. I am also a reviewer have been recently elected on the editorial board of the journal "Shoulder & Elbow."
