Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry since 1974 and currently consulting at 10 Harley St, London and Cygnet Hospital, Harrogate, with special interests in: • Stress-related illness and personal psychiatric injury, including acute trauma causing post-traumatic stress disorder or other psychiatric illness such as depression and anxiety state disorders; accumulated workplace stress causing psychiatric illness and/or injury • Assessing psychiatric illness in relation to insurance claims and employment • Assessing parties in dispute for family court proceedings (on Official Solicitor’s list) • Stress-management, techniques, training and education, including stress management coaching for senior business/ professional executives I have considerable experience in writing Medico-legal Reports in all fields, including criminal cases, and in Personal Injury cases in the approximate ratio of Claimant 50%; Defendant 30%; Joint 20%.
