Mr Richard Roach is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Shropshire. His areas of speciality include lower limb surgery in particular, knees incorporating all aspects from soft tissue to revision. He also has an active interest in Sport training; being a catalyst for research/publications and regular examiner. Current research includes thromboprophylaxis, lower limb data base linked to the hospital network and PCT driven arthroplasty accelerated mobilisation pathway. As part of interest in sports Mr Roach completed the modules for a Diploma of sports medicine via Bath University in 2011. He is widely published with 40 publications and numerous posters and presentations nationally and abroad.
