Tom is a Partner and head of the Forensic Accounting Services department of Moore Kingston Smith LLP, having specialised in forensic accounting since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. During this time he has been involved in a wide range of assignments, including commercial disputes, loss of profit claims, contractual disputes, compulsory purchase matters, and professional negligence actions against auditors and accountants.
Tom has been involved in numerous shareholder and partnership disputes and in matrimonial and related proceedings in the context of the identification, valuation and tracing of business assets.
He has also planned, managed and reported on numerous investigations commissioned by corporate entities where employees were suspected of fraudulent activity or the misappropriation of assets.
Tom has been instructed as an Expert Witness on many occasions and has testified as an Expert Witness in Court.
He is a member of both the Expert Witness Institute and the Academy of Experts, and is a member of the committee of the Forensic Special Interest Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Fraud Advisory Panel and the Compulsory Purchase Association.
Tom has published articles on fraud and forensic accounting.
