Mr Edbrooke is a Chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist with more than 35 years clinical experience. He has also worked as an expert witness producing reports covering personal injury, clinical negligence, professional standards, criminal behaviour (assault), occupational health and elite sport for more than 15 years.
Mr Edbrooke is an extremely experienced practising clinician with practices in Harley Street, London, and in Exeter. His career has taken him from NHS hospital practice, through 15 years of working in Occupational Health for the Police Service, and in elite sport with both British Athletics and British Triathlon, to his current role as a recognised expert in spinal and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Formerly a teacher of Physical Education Mr Edbrooke is an accomplished sportsman with a wide range of experience working with and training sports massage therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
Experience of giving evidence
Mr Edbrooke has 15 years’ experience of preparing expert reports for the Health and Care Professions Council, NHS Resolution, and the CPS in addition to cases of personal injury, clinical negligence, and occupational health. His work is split 50/50 between claimant and defendant, and he also prepares single joint witness reports and joint witness statements.
Mr Edbrooke has extensive experience of appearing in both Crown Court and in professional tribunals.

Availability
Mr Edbrooke is available for up to 4 days per week to undertake medicolegal work, and has a turnaround time of 2 weeks post assessment and/or collation of documents.
Mr Edbrooke is available to undertake face to face subjective assessment and objective examination, and subjective assessments only by video. He is able to travel to assess a subject, and is prepared to assess someone in their own home.
If necessary Mr Edbrooke is prepared to undertake assessments within a prison setting.
