Dr Kang qualified in Medicine from Birmingham University in 1973 and trained in Birmingham and Sydney. He was Consultant Gastroenterologist and then Honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist at St George's Hospital, London in 1999 and Visiting Professor of Medicine at the National University of Singapore from 2012-2018.
Dr Kang has been practising Gastroenterology for 50 years. He has retired from clinical practice but continues with medico-legal work. Dr Kang has written more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals including co-authorship of the 2014 British guidelines for Barrett's oesophagus.
He has provided medico-legal reports for personal injury and medical negligence cases since 2004, in all aspects of Gastroenterology.
He is able to compile reports promptly, sometimes within 2 weeks.
