Dr Katherine Edward

Dr Katherine Edward is a BPS Chartered and HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist working in Scotland and operating nationwide.

Dr Edward specialises in work with children and adolescents and she is currently engaged in independent Chartered Clinical Psychology work in a variety of settings.

Dr Edward offers expert witness and medico-legal report services, and regular instructions include (but are not limited to) assessment of psychological injury following road traffic accidents, animal attacks, non-accidental injury, and negligent medical practice.

Assessment can be available within the client’s own home, consulting space in Edinburgh and throughout UK, or via video link. 

Deferred fee payment may be available if pre-arranged.

Dr Edward has provided these services for over 16 years within and throughout Scotland and the UK.

To date Dr Edward has been instructed to provide more than 700 reports for the courts, with over 200 relating to medico-legal compensation cases. She has been called to give evidence in Court on more than 40 occasions, in the Sheriff Court, High Court, Court of Session and before Children’s Panels.
