Dr Biggs is a consultant learning disabilities psychiatrist and is based in Oxford. He has over 15 years experience as a consultant psychiatrist having worked within the following types of court cases: people in the general public who offend ( Fitness to plead, risk assessment and disposal options), individuals who have a learning disability who offend ( Fitness to plead, Risk assessment and Disposal Options), individuals with Autistic Spectrum conditions including (Asperger’s Syndrome), assessing peoples mental disorders as they are present in Asylum Seekers and Personal injury or employment disputes related to a psychiatric condition or trauma.
Dr Biggs can travel nationwide within various settings from prisons, refuges, local authority, solicitors’ offices and police stations
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, Dr Biggs is happy to provide assessments via Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp Video Call.
Dr Biggs accepts many forms of funding for reports including legal aid, conditional fee agreement, privately funded and court funded cases. Payment terms can be discussed on an individual basis dependant on the form of funding in place.
