Mr Panchmatia is a Consultant orthopaedic spine surgeon at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals. He was educated at Cambridge, Harvard and Yale Universities and trained as a spine surgeon in London and Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. He is motivated, capable, and provides prompt appointments and reports. He can usually turnaround reports within 2-6 weeks, sooner if required.

In 2015, Mr Panchmatia was appointed as Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, London specialising in spinal surgery. He is also the Clinical Governance Lead for trauma and orthopaedic surgery at GSTT. Mr Panchmatia treats elective and acute spinal conditions, offering both non-surgical and surgical treatments.

Mr Panchmatia has been providing medico-legal advice for a number of years. He has undergone his expert witness training. He is registered with APIL, AvMA, National Crime Agency (NCA) and the UK Register of Expert Witnesses.

Mr Panchmatia enjoys a full medico-legal practice representing both Claimant and Defendant law firms in actions relating to personal injury and clinical negligence. Mr Panchmatia holds weekly medico-legal clinics in London, but is happy to travel in order to conduct home and prison visits. He can usually turnaround reports within 6-8 weeks, sooner if required.

Mr Panchmatia has over 70 academic presentations and publications including in neurosurgery and orthopaedic journals. He has spoken to neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons at meetings internationally including at the North American Spine Society. Mr Panchmatia's international and national awards include a Fulbright Scholarship and the British Orthopaedic Association’s Robert Jones Gold Medal.
