Mr. Jeremy Kaye

Mr Jeremy Kaye is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Wirral, Merseyside.

His clinical practice was primarily a speciality shoulder practice of all shoulder conditions, including fracture management, joint replacement, revision joint replacement, and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. In addition, he partook fully until retirement in the general trauma on call that includes the initial management  and surgery of all trauma cases including hip fractures. Mr Kaye also undertook elective hip replacements. In the past he provided a regional referral service for complex pelvic and acetabular trauma but this work moved to the local major trauma centre. He continues to report on such injuries.

Medico-Legal Reports / Personal Injury Reports
Mr  Kaye has been providing medico-legal reports for twenty-five years. Providing definitive reports for both Claimant and Defendant legal advisors. He routinely provides single joint expert reports. Reports provided reflect his NHS clinical practice of shoulder surgery, hip replacement, general trauma and complex pelvic trauma plus hip injuries. The proportion of plaintiff to defence work undertaken in personal injury reporting is approximately 70/30%.

Medical Negligence Reports.
Mr Kaye also has considerable experience in providing reports in cases of potential medical negligence cases especially within his specialist fields and welcome requests for these cases. He also undertakes whole practice reviews. The Defence versus Plaintiff ratio is 80/20% for negligence reports.
