Mr Alan John Grant is a Consultant in General Surgeon, Clinical director for surgery, anaesthesia and critical care, in a busy District General hospital in the North of Scotland. He also has a clinical lead role for an independent sector endoscopy company.
He has a special interest in supporting services in remote and rural hospital of Scotland. He has undertaken research including, ‘Does the rural eHealth paradox apply to surgical practice in Scotland?’ for a Medical Informatics MSc thesis.
