Paul McGonagle is a chartered electrical engineer with over 30 years of industry experience. Paul returned to higher education in 1994 and graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in 1998. Having completed an accredited professional development scheme with National Air Traffic Services (NATS), he was incorporated by the Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2002. A large proportion of Paul's work has been in the renewable energy sector, which has moved from the margins to the mainstream. In the last 15 years, this has involved technical due diligence, report writing, and working closely with the Legal, Financial, and Insurance sectors to ensure standards of workmanship and equipment are fit for purpose in the emerging renewable sector.
