I am a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist and Lead Clinician for MRI at Leeds Teaching Hospitals and Honorary Lecturer at The University of Leeds. I am a Skeletal Trauma Radiologist for the Leeds Trauma Centre, Spinal Radiologist for the Yorkshire Regional Spine Centre and Radiology Lead for the Leeds Limb Reconstruction MDT. My specialist interest areas are spinal radiology, musculoskeletal trauma and musculoskeletal interventional radiology.

Recent clinical advisory roles include working with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) on the interventional radiology treatment for painful spinal metastases, producing guidelines for the European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR) on musculoskeletal interventional techniques, and working with NHS England to formulate a national cauda equina pathway.

I regularly speak at national and international radiology conferences, teach trainee radiologists, lecture to medical students on musculoskeletal radiology and I am the director of the Leeds MSK radiology fellowship program.

I have been undertaking medicolegal practice for five years and currently I produce approximately 20 reports per year. My work is a 50-50 ratio of claimant:defendant and comprises of all types of clinical negligence work, this includes all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology, including spinal radiology. To date, I have never been required to attend court.
