Mr Shadrokh Nabili

Mr Shadrokh Nabili is a Consultant Ophthalmologist (Cornea & External Eye Diseases) and Clinical Lead in Ophthalmology at BMI The Lancaster Hospital, the Audit Lead in Ophthalmology in University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, and the Cataract Pathway Lead at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He is also Senior Lecturer at UCLAN University of Central Lancashire.

He has formal accredited basic, higher specialist and advanced subspecialty ophthalmology training in Ninewells University Hospital, The Royal Hospitals (Belfast) and Bristol Eye Hospital since 2000. He has achieved fellowships from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008 and successfully accomplished an Advanced Sub-Speciality Fellowship (ASTO) at Cornea and External Eye Diseases (Anterior Segment) in 2009 when he was appointed as a full time Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in Morecambe Bay University Hospitals Foundation Trust to establish the Cornea and External Eye Diseases Services in South Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Mr Nabili is recognised as a certified medicolegal expert, equipped to provide expert witness testimony based on extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of eye diseases. His profound understanding of medicolegal proceedings ensures reliable and authoritative insights.

He has maintained his continuing professional development and regularly attends national and international conferences on his special interest subjects. He has been published several times in peer reviewed journals and has undertaken numerous presentations at both national and international conferences.
